Spring Onions


These sweet young onions are harvested early and intended to be eaten fresh. They haven’t been “cured” like a regular storage onion. 

We enjoy these mild spring onions in soups, sauteed, roasted, grilled, or sliced raw onto salads or served atop sandwiches or a bowl of beans. The greens are also edible.  (They are also delicious sauteed with a summer squash melody or thrown into a roasting pan or gratin with root veggies!)

All of our lettuces, greens, and vegetables are delivered raw, unprocessed, and “ready to wash.” Even if they look clean, you should always carefully and thoroughly wash all of your salad greens and veggies before you eat them!
